About MKIT

MKIT (Mechanical Keyboard Italia) is an independent meetup series dedicated to the Italian mechanical keyboard community. Since 2019 we've brought together enthusiasts, collectors, vendors and curious newcomers for a few hours of shared passion, loud switches and good company.

A keyboard meetup is something you can't replicate online. You can read reviews and watch videos for hours, but nothing tells you more about a board than picking it up, typing on it and hearing it for yourself. MKIT exists to give people that experience. A place to try dozens of setups side by side, discover new builds and talk to the people behind them.

We keep things deliberately informal. No stages, no schedules, just tables full of keyboards and enough time to have real conversations. Whether you've been building for a decade or just learned what a gasket mount is, you'll find your people here.

MKIT is community-run and independent. Since 2024 it has been organised by Marco, founder of Khor, with a small team of enthusiasts and a genuine belief that the hobby is better when people meet in person.
